The film, made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or recycled PET (RPET), is heat-shrunk around the bottle.
September 1, 2026
By: Melissa Meisel
Fiabila is introducing a decoration approach previously unseen for nail polish and nail care bottles: dressing them with a heat-shrink film (sleeve), in place of a conventional label or print. Developed with Sleever International, a specialist in shrink-sleeve technologies, the packaging is used in the new Wisteria Bloom collection.
The film, made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or recycled PET (RPET), is heat-shrunk around the bottle. It offers the advantage of being recyclable and easily withdrawn or reworked in the event of a quality issue or overstock, in addition to providing flexibility in decoration—including a larger decoration surface than a label or a limited print area, as well as in production and logistics.
The sleeve covers a larger surface than a conventional label, increasing the space available for graphic design, said the company. Decoration options are also more numerous.
Headquartered in France, Sleever International operates 11 production sites worldwide in line with Fiabila’s international presence and its ability to deliver local solutions to its various markets.
The Wisteria Bloom collection illustrates the implementation of this new packaging on a nail polish line. Its design makes the most of the enlarged display surface offered by the sleeve compared with conventional labelling, said the company.
